I'm excited to share Color and Collage, a new one-day workshop!

The supply list is short and sweet: paint, a brush, eight pieces of paper, an X-Acto knife, or scissors, and a glue stick.

Our plan has two parts: first we’ll talk about complementary colors and value – mixing colors that are tints, tones and shades. I’ll demo how to blend two complementary colors into each other, and then that’s what we’ll do in the morning session.

After the lunch break, we’ll convene to talk about collage. I’ll walk you through a set of exercises that will use the papers you painted in the morning to create a set of six collages, each different from the others.
