Why I Create
Making things - whether it's cooking, painting a room, or dyeing cloth - is supremely satisfying. In the process of creating we are linking to every generation of makers before us and reaching for the Divine at the same time. It's a gift and a pleasure everyone should experience! And can.
Hire Me
Because of the pandemic, many workshop artist/teachers have been faced with losing teaching schedules for the entire year while also facing the reality of limited travel in the future.
Teaching online classes is the solution many teachers are pursuing. I am grateful to have already created three on-demand courses on color, composition and botanical printing which have been successful. My Craftsy class on fabric dyeing has received more than 30 five star ratings! Add to this the fact that the Creative Strength Training course has risen in popularity and significance over the past four years, and the path forward seemed obvious. Interactions with other artists are fun for me while being inexpensive, worthwhile ways for others to engage their creative selves.
But what about guilds and other small art groups – forced to cancel months of careful in-person programming?
I am delighted to announce a new set of lectures developed with these groups – perhaps YOUR group – in mind.
