I was a bit apprehensive upon this week's assignment. I can't remember ever having done paper cutting before, but I have seen it done on tv and thought it looked like fun.
The first couple of attempts were a bit wobbly and ragged, but I enjoyed experimenting and soon started to enjoy it. I preferred to not follow the rules and just see where it took me. I love the fact that you can create stories with intricate cutting ie of trees, animals etc.
The most important thing for me this week was that I was able to find small pockets of time like 15 - 30 minutes, and just enjoying the creative process, rather than trying to find a day devoted to it, as that often gets taken over by housework, dishes, washing etc.
I am going to carry on experimenting, as I would like to see the possibilities of 3D shapes.
